- Meet the Author: Marjorie Rosenthal Foer
In 2000, Marjorie joined the initial cadre of Board Recognized Specialists in Fluency Disorders (BRS-FD). She earned her Certificate of Advanced Study in Administration, Planning and Social Policy from Harvard University in 1990. In that same year, the Executive Director of ASHA requested her participation in their Emerging Leaders program and The Stuttering Foundation of America invited Marjorie to attend their workshop for stuttering specialists at Northwestern University on a full scholarship. Marjorie received her M.A. in Speech-Language Pathology from Case Western Reserve University in 1983 and graduated in 1978 from the University of California at Santa Barbara, with a B.A. in Speech and Hearing.
